Each school in District 719 has a full preparation kitchen offering the printed menu of the day and at least one other alternate choice. A la carte items can also be purchased in each school, with the greatest variety of items offered at the high school.
All schools will continue to use the prepaid computer system for payment of meals. Students enter a personalized pin number into a keypad and the price of the meal is deducted from their account. Lunch prices for the 2009-2010 school year are as follows:
Elementary -- $2.15 per meal
Secondary -- $2.25 per meal
Adults -- $3.15 per meal
Free and reduced priced meal assistance is available. Applications can be found in the district calendar which is mailed in August and can also be obtained at each school office.
