o       This is an interactive game where students ‘pick up trash’ in a park and have to decide if the item can be recycled, composted or put in the trash.  At the end it breaks it down into pounds of recycled, composted and trashed.

o       This is a great interactive website depicting how the people of Dumptown turned their backward town around…how Recycle City reduces waste and saves money…and lets kids discover where all the garbage we throw away goes!

o       Many materials we use every day can be reused and recycled.  You may find new ways to reduce how much garbage you throw away.  Maybe you can start a recycling program in your school or community!
