In-Person Learning Model
It is likely that our district will “turn the dial” between all three learning models: Hybrid, Distance and In-Person Learning– or a combination of them– throughout the school year.
Click here to learn PLSAS's process for determining if/when we “turn the dial” to a different district learning model.
If we "turn the dial" to In-Person Learning, students will attend school every day, with additional safety precautions including practicing social distancing where possible.
In buildings, every school day
Your child will have high-quality and engaging teacher-led instruction 5 days a week.
To the greatest extent possible, instruction will look and feel like it did prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first few weeks will have a strong focus on building relationships, identifying learning gaps from last spring and summer, and helping students feel engaged and connected to their school.
Equitable access to technology
Each student will be issued a district device and will have access to all district-provided online resources.
- K-2: iPad
- 3-5: Chromebook
- 6-12: iPad
There will be increased outdoor-learning time for all classes.
