Learning Models Overview
It is likely that our district will "turn the dial" between all three learning models: Hybrid, Distance and In-Person Learning (or a combination of them) throughout the school year. Click here to learn PLSAS's process for determining if/when we “turn the dial” to a different district learning model
Students will learn at home and receive daily interaction with their licensed teacher(s). Distance Learning will be used full time if students and staff are not allowed to be in buildings, as directed under the MN Safe Learning Plan. This year’s program reflects improvements over last year based on staff, parent and student feedback.
All students attend school every day, with additional safety precautions including practicing social distancing where possible.
All students learn through a combination of distance learning at home and in-person learning at school with strict social distancing and capacity limits.
NEW: Distance Learning Academy
Under the governor’s executive order, all districts must offer an equitable distance learning model to all families who choose not to attend in-person or hybrid learning due to medical risks or other safety concerns. Families are not required to provide documentation of risks.
