2020 School Board election
Three PLSAS school board member seats are on the General Election ballot, with terms running January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2024. Residents interested in running for School Board must file an Affidavit of Candidacy and pay a $2 filing fee at the district office (4540 Tower Street SE) between July 28, 2020 and August 11, 2020.
To be a candidate for the office of school board, you must be:
* An eligible voter
* 21 years of age or more
* Resident of the school district for 30 days prior to the general election
* No other affidavit on file for any other office in this election

NEW VOTER REGISTRATIONS
People wishing to register to vote may register online with the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State. You may also download a Minnesota Voter Registration Application and mail or drop off at: Scott County Government Center, 200 Fourth Ave. W., Shakopee, MN 55379. Do not mail in registrations less than 20 days before Election Day (registration temporarily closes 20 days before the election). Eligible voters may also register on Election Day at their respective precinct. To be eligible, individuals must have resided in the precinct at least 20 days and bring one proof of residence.
