Election Information
NOVEMBER 5, 2024 GENERAL ELECTION
Three PLSAS school board member seats are on the General Election ballot, with four year terms running January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2028. Residents interested in running for School Board must file an Affidavit of Candidacy and pay a $2 filing fee between July 30 and August 13, 2024. You must file no later than 5:00 pm on August 13, 2024 to be on the ballot in November.
Election materials, including the Affidavit of Candidacy, are available at the District Services Center (4540 Tower Street SE) in Prior Lake, MN 55372 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. (Available July 30, 2024)
To be a candidate for the office of school board, you must be:
* An eligible voter
* 21 years of age or more
* Resident of the school district for 30 days prior to the general election
* No other affidavit on file for any other office in this election
