The Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) is a group that provides input on special education issues for our local school district and advises the school district on the development of programs and services to meet the special educational needs of children and families.
- Represents the interests of district learners with disabilities from birth through age 21
- Advises the PLSAS Special Education Department on parent involvement, current issues, program development and department priorities.
- Promotes communication among family, school and community
- Members represent schools and students as a whole, not individual interests or specific child issues
Due to the ongoing pandemic, SEAC meetings will take place virtually, via Google Meet. Meetings are open to all parents, but regular membership is maintained to ensure cross-representation of student needs.
