Facility Use & Rental
The School Board supports the full use of one of the community’s greatest assets, the school district’s facilities, grounds, and equipment. The School Board welcomes and encourages responsible school district and community use of our district facilities, grounds and equipment by citizens of all ages, when such use does not interfere with or decrease use as needed for school district programs.
The health and safety of our students, staff, volunteers and community is Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools’ number one priority. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of PLSAS buildings and fields will look different this summer. We are adapting our facility use procedures to follow the most current Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) guidance. These changes are being implemented to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 exposure while continuing to provide the community with access to buildings and fields. Strategies may change as new MDH and MDE guidance is received.
PLSAS fields will be available for use through PLSAS Facility Scheduling starting June 15, 2020. Limited use of indoor facilities will be available through Facility Scheduling starting July 6, 2020. Any facility use requests for indoor or outdoor use must be submitted and approved by the district along with a preparedness plan outlining how recommended procedures from MDH and the CDC would be implemented.
Please note: Weekend and holiday use is limited due to staff availability.
