Students have received information about the Math-A-Thon in math class already. They will need to return a permission slip to do the fundraising. Once we have that, students can start the fundraising part right away. People can write a check to St. Jude’s or donate online at the Hidden Oaks event page at mathathon.org. It will take about a week for the Funbooks to arrive. All materials, math problems and donations, are due March 22. Click read more for website and more details.
Hidden Oaks Middle School
Our mission at Hidden Oaks Middle School is to promote and model a love of learning by providing a nurturing environment for students to grow academically, socially and emotionally.
Hidden Oaks and Twin Oaks are partner schools located across the street from each other. Staff at each site work together to benefit students by creating class opportunities and electives that could only be offered by the two schools working together.
Hidden Oaks is proud to be part of a 2013 U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools Sustainability District that supports Environmental Education, along with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (E-STEM). Hidden Oaks and Twin Oaks offer a popular Environmental Education (EE) club called Earthlings to help students develop leadership skills, participate in service learning opportunities and promote E-STEM initiatives in the schools.
